Library Corner
April is here and the two new books became three. I saw
that Jude Deveraux wrote a new book and it was a romance/
mystery, so I bought it. It’s called A Justified Murder and
while I was reading it, I discovered it was the second in a
series, so I bought the first one in paperback. Now you can
start at the beginning with A Willing Murder. They are great
stories and I’m sure you would like to read the whole series.
Our next book is Past Tense by Lee Child. Jack Reacher just
finished his last adventure in Maine, and he is about to set
out on a cross country trip to end in San Diego. While
hitchhiking through a woods in New England, he spies a
sign that congers up memories of his father. Laconia, New
Hampshire was where Stan Reacher was born or so he
thought. You will along with Jack while he tries to connect
with his past and at the same time meet a couple from Canada
trying to be part of the American dream.
We are looking for newer Large Print books. We have many
members that read them, and our supply is quite old. Thanks
for all your donations, they are greatly appreciated.

Don’t forget to send your favorite Ranch scenery and
wildlife photos to me for our 2020 Canada Creek Ranch
calendar! Our committee will choose the clearest and
most interesting photos for the 12 months, and the back
and front covers from the photos that are sent to us.
We will start making our decisions by mid-May, so that
we will be able to start selling the calendars at the July
Beach Bash.
Please include the first and last name of the person who
took each photo. We need all seasons of the year.
