CCR Property Owners Committee Annual Report
The first meeting of the reinstated Property Owners
Committee was in July 2019. At this time the President of the
Board, Ray Karbon, presented us with an outline to structure
the committee. We are to list the areas on the ranch for which
standards of neatness and appearance should be developed.
Our task is to assist the Board in watching the well-being
and appearance of the Ranch property. We are to serve at the
discretion of the Board. The areas in question are to be east
of the Canada Creek.
At this time our mission statement has been developed and
accepted by the committee.
Rules for the committee members to follow as to meeting
structure and confidentiality have been written but not yet
accepted by the committee. The meeting process is developed
to a point so we can function. Yet, a more effective method of
working with the snowbirds committee members needs to
be addressed.
The list of areas to be monitored for the Board and the
standards of neatness and appearance are being developed.
Also, these standards and the rationale for them are a work
in progress.
These standards and the rationale then need to be presented
to the membership.
The means of reporting to the Board and tracking the
outcomes for future reference will be the next step.
Our goal is to present the completed outline for Board
approval in the first quarter of 2020.
Respectfully submitted,
Ken Suppes, O.D
The Committee worked with the Board in making a change
in the process by putting the final decision on any actions
taken in the hands of the Board. The Committee receives the
incident reports, investigates, works with management and
members involved then sends their findings to the Board of
Directors for the final decision.
The Committee was asked to make a recommendation to the
Board of Directors on any changes in the rule governing the
use of side by sides on the property. The Committee has only
had one incident with these vehicles since they have been
allowed on the property and does not feel any changes are
necessary at this time. The Committee did not make any
recommendation for changes at this time.
There is nothing before the Committee at this time that would
result in any recommendations for the upcoming year.
