Some current members remember Ken as the first fire
Chief. Joined CCR in 1970 – 50 years celebrating this
year.
Committees:
Hunter Safety Chairman, Conservation, Gate, Cabin
Owners, Campground Co-Chair many years
I would like CCR to be affordable in the future years just
like we had before the tree harvest and gas wells income.
If elected I would work with the Board members to find a
solution to keep our working class members dues
affordable. We have large amounts of members who are
educators, factory workers, Ford, General Motors, Dodge
& Chrysler. CCR history tells us a large amount of
property owners were the selling point for an affordable
club for hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.
Board of Directors Candidates

Teri Logghe
At this time I would like to formally
thank CCR members for the
opportunity to be considered for the
Canada Creek Ranch Board of
Directors. I am proud to be a 4th
generation member of Canada
Creek Ranch. I’m married to Brian
and have four children, Tristen,
Trent, Josie and Brynn. My current
education includes a doctorate degree in Nursing
Educational Leadership and have been teaching in the
field of nursing for 13 years. I love the outdoors and am
passionate about preserving the mission of a hunting,
fishing and family recreation. I have been and am active
in many committees at CCR. I have served on the
Nominating Committee, Campground Committee (8
years) and am presently still serving on the Safety and
Security Committee (14 years). I also enjoy volunteering
around CCR. I have enjoyed the CCR campground during
all seasons including spending the entire summer for over
30 years, now I presently own a cabin. During my
summers at CCR, I had the opportunity to work at the
Trading Post for many years and serve the members of
CCR. While at home in Saginaw, Michigan I work as a
Nursing Professor and as a Certified Legal Nurse
Consultant. I have served on many committees within
my field of study, such as: ACEN accreditation board for
nursing, several hiring committees for faculty positions,
the negotiating team for the union contract and on state
and local boards for nursing. I feel that I bring historical
knowledge to the CCR board. Hopefully I’ll be a 3 rd
generation board member. I also enjoy using facts to solve
problems in a creative manner. I feel that my values of
transparency, integrity and accountability will be an asset
to the CCR board and entire membership. In my spare
time, I love being at CCR around people that have helped
to shape me into the individual I am today. I look forward
to the future of CCR and hopefully having the opportunity
to help shape decisions that will impact many generations
to come.
