June CCR Shooters Corner
Welcome back Ranch members! By the time you read
this I am hoping the world shutdown has ended for
good. Due to the restrictions imposed on the Ranch
shooting range maintenance we are behind in our
attempted projects for this season. One of our projects
was to enable the Ranch members to enjoy a new
venue allowing prone, sitting, and standing shooting
at the 200-yard and 300-yard targets. Another
scheduled repair and replacement of 50, 100, and 200-
yard backstops. Also, it has been proposed to change
the 25-yard backstop to wood backstops. We estimate
repair of the spinning plate target will occur this
summer sometime also. Everything takes time and
we have been delayed now for 2 months already.
Please bear with us as we strive to bring the shooting
range back to a usable condition for all the members.
We have noticed that the large rubber shooting rests
have received great reviews and the members have
taken good care to return all the shooting ear
protectors back to their proper hanging positions.
Also, we noticed that the provided staplers have been
available for all members to utilize when needed.
Thank you for being respectful of the new equipment
that has been provided by the Shooting Sports
Committee these past 2 years. We will continue to
make equipment and range improvements as monies
permit.

A special thanks to Gary Zechel for removing the old
pistol range wire backstop and replacing it with a
brand new one.
In a final note please feel free to suggest any
improvements to the ranges that would benefit the
Ranch and its members. Send your suggestions
through the office attention of the Shooting Sports
Committee.
