CCR News March 2021

March 2021
Hello Members !
I hope everyone ’ s first two months of 2021 are going great . I know many of you have been at CCR enjoying the snowmobiling , but just the last two days haven ’ t been good on our trail systems . We have received some higher temperatures melting most of the snow away and creating less than ideal conditions . While we do have some snow on the ground , we just haven ’ t had the perfect wintersports ’ weather .
This year ’ s Winter Jamboree looked much different in terms of events and activities . While we were able to coordinate most of the outdoor activities , other items like Family Bingo were logistically not possible due to the current MDHSS restrictions . These types of events take a large effort by both our Team Members and volunteers . I would like to extend a thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event possible along with CCR ’ s Team Members . I know the hours and commitment everyone provides to events like this , and I hope you realize it does not go unrecognized . Again , thank you !
You should find a schedule of events within the CCR News . I know that our Recreation Committee along with Traci Carigon , our Event Coordinator , are always looking for great folks like you to help us keep CCR ’ s events going strong . If you would like to spend time helping us with any of the listed events , please be sure to reach out to Traci at traci @ ccra . club or 989-785-4201 .
At this time , all CCR members should have received their

Just a reminder to all members that all artificial deer blinds must be removed prior to March 1st . All members should have had ample opportunity to remove these . The hunting area is still currently shut down to wheeled vehicles at this time . Any blinds that are seen after the March 1 deadline may have an Incident Report filed with the Safety & Security Committee regarding the rule violation . If you bring your guests up to utilize the club , be sure to let them know of all the benefits CCR has to offer . CCR ’ s new members are predominately your family and guests . You need to encourage them to take the next step in becoming a member . Remember , you are the membership champions , the membership marketers , the piece of the puzzle the makes CCR grow and last for many years to come . As always , I encourage every current member to take it upon himself / herself to bring in one new member this year
, and for those that have started or completed this task for 2021 , I applaud and thank you .
Take care everyone . We hope to see you all very soon !
