A . MUSEUM PROJECT UPDATE FROM JANUARY 21 – The contractor was out here last week attempting to finish the shingles , but the warmth from the Ranch House caused the snow to melt and turn to ice on the roof . This made it unsafe for the contractor to finish the shingles at this time . He plans on doing it once there is either a warm day or by mechanical means .
• Earl and some other volunteers have removed the bookshelves in the library area .
• The entrance doors to the museum have been selected and given to the contractor to order .
• The contractor states that he needs the architect to come back to the job site to review the suite window removal and creation of the door for the room . He doesn ’ t believe the architect knew it was a block foundation , which has caused some other issues . Because this is a

commercial building and had approved architectural drawings , it needs to be addressed by the architect .
• As a reminder , the contractor has placed caution tape and barriers to keep everyone from entering the area . Please do not go around these barriers . The end parking location of the overnight rooms has been coned off to allow the contractor to park equipment . Please refrain from parking in this area .

B . RANCH OWNED VEHICLE BY BID - 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 , 94058 miles . It needs bed / box work and shifter linkage work ( in the steering column ), the driver ’ s seat is rough , and it has a western plow that works . Sealed bids can be mailed or dropped at the office . ( Addressed as follows : 23500 Ranch House Trail , Atlanta MI 49709 ATT : Truck Bid ) by March 7 , 2025 .
C . CCR ANNUAL BOARD CALENDAR - The Board and General Manager should decide what is best for the club in view of the nature and rhythm of its activities while keeping in mind “ housekeeping ” and compliance requirements . The tasks described are recommended in addition to recurring agenda items , including , for example , approval of minutes from previous meetings . The calendar can be found in each Board Meeting ’ s Consent Agenda , and on the website .
D . 2024 STATE OF THE FOREST REPORT RELEASED - Green Timber Forestry ( formally known as Grossman Forestry Company ) has released the State of the Forest Report for 2024 . This document provides updates on the past year ’ s activities , updated maps , inventory data , forest resource descriptions , and a look to the future . It must be read with the Forest / Wildlife Management Plan and all updated policies . This also serves as the annual update to the Forest / Wildlife Management Plan . The document can be reviewed in this month ’ s Consent Agenda and on the website ’ s Forest / Wildlife Information page .
E . PLEASE WELCOME NINA BRINKER - I am pleased to announce the appointment of Nina Brinker as our new Assistant General Manager . After a review process that included evaluating multiple candidates , Nina emerged as the strongest choice for our club .
Nina brings a comprehensive set of skills and extensive experience that will significantly enhance our operations . Her background in Food and Beverage management and her familiarity with private club environments make her an ideal fit for our team . Nina will effectively address critical areas within our front-of-house dining services , communications , and event planning ,
