Adopt-a-Fench Join CCR ’ s Border Patrol
Each year the office receives several member phone calls informing us of a problem with CCR ’ s perimeter fencing . These calls range from a section of wire down , poles broken off or even missing “ No Trespassing ” signs . To help alleviate some of these issues , a volunteer program call Adopt-A-Fence has been developed . This would be a volunteer program similar to Adopt-A-Highway .
We need members to sign-up to care for a section of CCR perimeter fence . These sections will be ½ mile in length . CCR has approximately 20 miles of perimeter fencing . Volunteers willing and able to take on more than one section are welcome to do so . Your section can be maintained by an individual , a family or even a group of friends .
We would like volunteers to be responsible to monitor and do maintenance of their section , which includes cleaning debris , repairing down wire , and replace any broken posts . All materials and tools needed are available and supplied by CCR . Don ’ t know how ? There are some great YouT
