COYOTE HUNTING GUIDELINES
1 . Members must follow all Federal , State and Local Laws and Regulations . Members are responsible for knowing all the laws and regulations .
2 . Members may hunt coyote with a State of Michigan base license . EXCEPTION : Members hunting coyote Nov . 10 – 14 must have a fur harvester license and are limited to the use of . 22 or smaller rimfire . 3 . Members trapping coyotes must have a fur harvester license . 4 . Non-Resident Members must have a fur harvesters license to hunt or trap coyotes . 5 . Dogs MAY NOT be used to run coyotes on CCR property between
October 1 and November 30 . 6 . CCR will pay a bounty of $ 25.00 per coyote paid as a member credit . 7 . Coyotes must be harvested on CCR property to receive bounty . 8 . Location of the coyote harvest may be requested . 9 . Coyotes brought to the office / maintenance garage will have the tongues cut to show the animal has been registered with CCR .

Death Notice Edward ( Ted ) Fischer
Canada Creek Ranch , Atlanta , MI , Edward ( Ted ) Erik Fischer ( 78 ) died August 19 , 2020 . He was born in Gagetown , MI on April 25 , 1942 to Edward Henry Fred Fischer and Anna Elizabeth Hembold . Sister Joy Lafave of Caro , MI and his parents preceded him in death .
Ted is survived by his wife Deidre Anne Fischer , 22 step grandchildren , nephew Randy ( Sue ) Lafave , niece Jill Lafave , stepchildren Melissa ( Glen ) Mann , Carrie ( Matt ) Braford , Timothy ( Sarah ) Herremans , Jennifer ( Weston ) Selent , Lindsey ( Erik ) Jacobson , and stepchildren from a previous marriage near Akton , Massachusetts area Kimberly ( Jeff ) Manning , Tommy ( Lisa ) Skripps , Gabe ( April ) Skripps . This area is where Ted worked for Foster-Miller Inc . after graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering .
Before that time , he had the pleasure of working for the University of Hawaii , Department of Astronomy in Honolulu , and Hilo as foreman for Mauna Kea observatory on Mauna Kea Summit .
Ted moved home to Buckley , MI in 1997 . Worked and retired from Microline Technology Corp . as Design Engineer in Traverse City , MI . He retired in 2011 , married Deidre and moved to Canada Creek Ranch . Ted ’ s words “ there is no place on earth like the Ranch ”. He enjoyed every bit of it . He loved spending time with his brothers-in-Law , nephew Randy , cousins , and friends .
Ted ’ s interests and hobbies have been model railroading , photography , scuba diving , building , and making things at home , traveling , and reading .
There have been small group gatherings taking place in places that he lived with more to come in celebrating his life .
