to scan the history photos , papers , CCR newspapers , etc ., that Barb and the office have . This is a very big project . Barb to ask if the Ladies Auxiliary women could help with the scanning .
Earl and Perry have come up with some museum logos . The logo would be put on T ’ s , sweatshirts , mugs , etc . The items would be sold through Ryan Marshall ’ s printing business . Members could order directly through him . The proceeds would go into the history committee account . Earl suggested some ideas for fund raisers for 2022 : June Golf Tournament , Pig Roast , Spaghetti dinner , auction off quilts / afghans , Stained glass hanging , etc .
We most likely will have an October 2021 meeting then possibly reconvene in April 2022 .
Respectfully submitted , Earl Sowers - Chairman Barb Steele - Secretary
Property Owners Committee Annual Report
The Property Owners committee has been busy this past year reviewing The Association Rules Of Conduct , Our primary focus at this time has been review of section 7 , membership lots . There are 10 rules contained in this section . Of these rules we found 5 to be adequate as written . We have recommended changes to 2 rules which were presented to the Board of Directors and approved in the last few months although one of those is still under review for additional clarification . There are currently 3 additional rules that are under review for possible change or clarification . We have to be cautious in any recommendation due to the nature of these rules and the affect it can and will have on the membership , along with the process of enforcement , to avoid complications for the manager , staff and Board of Directors . We thank manager Brian Rogers , Board Liaison Al Lifsey for their attendance , guidance and assistance over the past year .
Respectfully submitted Chairman of the Property Owners Committee Tamara Smith

We have been approved as a Michigan Non-Profit Corporation . We are now under application to the IRS to designate us as a 501c3 organization to process donations
21 as tax deductible . Our traditional path of donating funds for some projects will still be available . Donated funds for the State of Michigan and the Internal Revenue Service application fees were provided from all committee members .
Funds donated to a 501c3 Non-Profit Corp . must be for the good of the region and for educational , charitable , and natural resources including land , waters , forest and wildlife of the Canada Creek Watershed . Separation must be kept between the CCR Assn . Inc . and the Michigan non-profit CCR Foundation .
We expect to have the non-profit designation from the IRS very soon !
