We would like to thank those of you who’ ve made contact with the Committee with information about Ranch history. Please continue to search for material we could use to tell the story of Canada Creek Ranch. The Ice House on Lake Geneva was just discussed, does anyone have a photo they would share? Contact Nancy Thurston, Jo-Carole Zechel or any Committee member with your information or artifact.
The Donor Tree has room for less than 10 leaves, so if you’ d like to add your leaf, we encourage you to do so as once filled, we aren’ t able to add more branches. Any future contributions will still be very welcomed and acknowledged in writing by the Committee.
Please check our Annual Report, included in this issue, for information about what we’ ve been doing and what our 3-Stage Plan is for the coming year.
We look forward to a very colorful Fall 2025!
Attention:
The historical committee would like to announce that the bottle and can drive has been completed. The committee feels confident that we now have sufficient funds to complete the building of the museum. Thanks to the bottle and can donations, we have collected approximately $ 35,000 just from bottles and cans alone! Wow!
Thank you so much and if you wish to keep giving your bottles and cans away, Earl will have the trailer behind his garage at 224977 Shelton Trail, close to Storm Lake Trail, please put them in the trailer and please no trash!
There are also other ways you can still donate, we still have seven leaves available for purchase to fill up the last branch of our donation tree, you can also put a donation into our fund directly at the ranch, so come and get in on the project if you have not already done so!
We sincerely hope that when the project is completed, everyone will enjoy and be more aware of our ranch’ s rich history we have.
Thanks for your support!
Sincerely, Earl S. Sowers- Chairman, Historical Committee
