What is the total budget from the Resource Fund in 2025? The 2025 budgeted Resource Fund expenditures are as follows:
Does this proposed allocation allow for unexpected future needs? The committee looked 10 years ahead and predicted, based on the current known facts, that this increase would sustain the club’ s current efforts for our natural resource items for that time frame.
Are we going to vote on a proxy for this increase? The Board has approved for this proposal to be placed on the 2025 proxy.
What if the membership votes it down?
• Usage fees may rise or the Board will be forced to cut services and amenities to members. The Resource Fund items that will be considered are:
• The reduction or elimination of food plot and field plantings.
• The reduction or elimination of fish plantings.
• The reduction or elimination of tree plantings.
• The elimination of a Wildlife Biologist.
• The elimination of the Wildlife Habitat Consultant.
• The reduction or elimination of stream rehabilitation and beaver removal.
• The reduction or elimination of invasive species mitigation.
If the dues proxy passes, what additional programs will it fund? None. The September proxy proposal does not fund any new program. It will only to replace the natural gas revenue that has disappeared. CCR’ s environmental, projects, timber projects, fish planting, watershed studies and deer feeding have been very successful. We hope they can continue.
Can you explain surrendered certificates and why we have this charge? This is the amount based on the number of certificates surrendered via consolidation to the association or by foreclosures. This assessment was established by the approval of a 1999 proxy ballot. The Surrendered Certificate Assessment is calculated using a total of 2006 certificates outlined in the By-Laws. The CCR membership certificate count is 1,385, a difference of 621 certificates.
