B. SOUTH ENTRANCE ICE STORM CLEANUP – The South Entrance, Pete Trail, Shelton Trail, Bergen Trail, Dowsett Trail, and Golf Driving Range salvage treatment cleanup has been completed. We are happy to see the results and hope that our Members are too. Check out some of these photos that show the completed project.
While I don’ t know the final results for planting, it will be recommended to the Board at the next meeting that we hold off on any planting for at least a year, maybe two, to see what grows back. At that point, we can make a decision on what should be planted in that area, if anything.
C. THANK YOU TO OUR CCR FIREFIGHTERS! – On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire CCR membership, we wanted to say thank you to each and every one of the firefighters who have served on the Canada Creek Ranch Fire Brigade.
The service and dedication to respond in times of need have made a lasting impact on our club. Whether the firefighter served for one year or nearly two decades, the commitment is appreciated. From structure and wildland fires to the storm response, we are incredibly grateful.
As of this past week, the CCR Fire Brigade has officially transitioned to the Hillman Area Fire Department. We’ re proud to share that most are continuing to serve through Hillman.
Motion by C. Geralds, supported by R. Trim, to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Motion Approved 7-0.
A. V. Rakowski thanked the Fire Brigade for their service to the Ranch.
V. OPERATIONS / GENERAL MANAGER’ S REPORTS
Most, if not all, of this report has already been published through the Membership Minute blog.
A. CCR MEMBERS – YOUR HELP IS STILL NEEDED! – As a reminder, the recent devastating ice storm significantly increased wildfire risks for the next few years throughout Canada Creek Ranch, leaving behind large amounts of broken limbs, brush piles, and debris. Whether you own a lot, a dwelling, want to help others with their lot( s), or if you want to assist with common area or CCR-owned lots, we ask that you continue the cleanup efforts, as they are critical in reducing fire hazards and preserving a fire-safe place in the cabin area. Please remove debris and utilize the Greenbox area for proper disposal. Please do not place debris on your neighbor’ s lots or the common area. Thank you again for doing your part to protect CCR!

We were able to share a small token of appreciation for all of their years of dedication.
Please say thank you to these individuals the next time you see them: Chief John Jones, Assistant Chief Lanny Cotner, firefighters Rob Arnold Jr., Bill VanTiem, Ralph Mayer, Gary Jones, Jim Dowe, Adam Jones, Donnie Krzysiak II, Shawn Wikelius, and Steve Phelps.
Thank you again for your incredible service to CCR.
D. STORAGE AREA COMMON LOT CLEAN UP EFFORT – Members, we’ re asking for your help! If you have a boat, trailer, or any other item stored in the common lot within the storage area, please contact the CCR Office to identify your item. We will request that you place a storage area sticker on it.
Over time, several items have remained unmoved( some even starting to grow moss), so it’ s time to give this area the cleanup it deserves. Your assistance will help us get things organized and ensure the lot is being appropriately used by active members.
