asking what can be done with all the canopy tents on the Beach that get left for several days, especially during Beach Bash. The Board moved forward with the sign change and will add the tent issue to new business for next month.
Motion by W. Bennett, supported by C. Geralds, to approve the revision of the swimming beach rules to read“ No boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, or fishing allowed in the swim area” as presented, recommended, and approved by the Safety & Security Committee. Motion Approved 7-0.
D. Item # 0725-6: Continued Storm Debris
Cleanup
• C. Geralds suggests that we offer a dollar amount to Members to clean up CCR-owned lots.
E. Item # 0825-1: South Entrance Tree Planting
Recommendation
• B. Rogers spoke of the salvage cut area at the South Entrance. He would like to see what kind of regeneration will take place in the following year.
Motion by W. Bennett, supported by R. Trim, to approve not reforesting the South Entrance salvage treatment area and to reevaluate the area in one year. Motion Approved 7-0.
F. Item # 0825-2: Hunting Area Artificial Material
Removal Rule Proposal
• D. Weber presented the revision to Rule $ 19.09. the creek at the end of Doty Trail to make the creek easily accessible.
Motion by W. Bennett, supported by D. Blanton, to approve John Gibson placing concrete blocks at the end of Doty Trail for easier access into the water, with the understanding that he must remove them no later than October 31, 2025. Motion Approved 7-0.
B. Item # 0825-3: Perimeter Gate Key Usage
• Member Steve Standfest is asking the Board to revisit the perimeter gate key policy. He would like to access the South Gate during hunting season as he lives off the Ranch and it’ s closer for him to access there. This item was tabled to investigate the policy. After a short discussion, the Board agreed to send this to the Safety & Security Committee and the Conservation Committee for their recommendations to ensure consistency for all Members.
C. Other Items from Member
• Member Mark Peltier asked how the Board seat will be appointed, and it was explained that the governing documents will have to be reviewed to make sure we are following them.
• Member Mark Peltier thanked B. Rogers and R. Krucker for help with the road issue on Dowsett Trail.
• Member Michael Murray thanked the Maintenance Team for clearing out trees at the Bridge Trail intersection, but he still feels that it should be a four-way stop.
Motion by C. Geralds, supported by R. Trim, to approve the revisions to Rule # 19.09 as presented, recommended, and unanimously approved by the Conservation Committee. Motion Approved 7-0.
G. Proposed Operating and Capital Fund
Investment.
• D. Blanton reviewed the proposed change to Policy and Procedures $ 605 and 606.
Motion by C. Geralds, supported by D. Blanton, to approve the revisions to Policy and Procedures # 605 and # 606 as presented, recommended, and unanimously approved by the Investment Committee. Motion Approved 6-1 with N. Schulz voting NAY.
H. New Business for Next Month.
