All members must obtain a badge to hunt, a badge to fish, and a badge to use the shooting facilities on CCR property. Only active members may receive a badge after paying the established fee and the CCR Release and Indemnification. Agreement is on file at the office. Children requiring any state license or wishing to use the shooting ranges must have a CCR badge. Badges shall be conspicuously displayed on the member’s outer clothing. • R. Karbon requested a motion to approve the 2020 committee chairpersons as presented with the following addition: Michael Cramer – Campground Chairperson. Motion by T. Chambers, seconded by R. Delecki to approve 2020 Committee Chairpersons. Approved Unanimously 7 – 0. 4. Committee Liaison Appointments • R. Karbon requested a motion to approve the 2020 committee liaisons as presented with the following additions: Appraisal Committee – R. Karbon, Campground – Both N. Schulz and T. Chambers, Environmental – R. Delecki, Fire Patrol – both V. Kaszonyi and N. Schulz, Shooting Sports – B. Cook. Motion by T. Chambers, seconded by N. Schulz to approve the new language for Rules 19.01 & 21.01. Approved Unanimously 7 – 0. Second reading scheduled for February 22, 2020. 9. Proposed Rule Change for 10.05 • B. Rogers read the motion for rule change 10.05 to remove the $25.00 requirement. Motion by M. Smith, seconded by R. Delecki to approve the 2020 Committee liaisons. Approved Unanimously 7 – 0. Motion by A. Lifsey, seconded by M. Smith to approve removal of the $25.00 requirement from rule 10.05. Approved Unanimously 7 – 0. Second reading scheduled for February 22, 2020. 5. Social Media Policies · • R. Karbon presented the current Facebook Member-Only Group rules and procedures. After a detailed discussion it was decided not to change any processes. 10. Other New Business Items · No other New Business Items from Members • R. Karbon acknowledged the letter from member Angela Brown. A formal letter will be sent to Mrs. Brown. • B. Rogers read an email that the Board of Directors received from member Dave Weber. The Weber ’s have requested a variance for the construction of their garage on Wintergreen Trail. They would like the roof to have a 4/12 pitch for the area’s snow load instead of the 3/12 pitch that keeps the garage at the same height as the cabin. The steeper pitch will make the garage 12" higher than the cabin. The footprint of the garage meets the requirements of CCR. They have received the township zoning permit. 6. Capital Fund Expense Request • B. Rogers presented a list of recommended January 2020 expenditures to be approved by the Board of Directors. After a detailed discussion, B. Rogers requested a motion to approve the presented January expenditure list from the Capital Fund in an amount Not to Exceed $165,185. Motion by M. Smith, seconded by N. Schulz to approve the January 2020 expenditures in the amount NTE $165,185. Approved 6 – 1 with R. Delecki voting no. 7. Michigan DNR Mutual Aid Fire Control Agreement Motion by T. Chambers, seconded by M. Smith to approve the variance. Approved Unanimously 7 -0. • B. Rogers presented a mutual aid agreement from the MDNR that would allow their services to be utilized. B. Rogers requested a motion to have Raymond Karbon, CCR President, and John Johns, CCR Fire Brigade Chief, to sign the Cooperative Mutual Aid Fire Control Agreement with the MDNR. Motion by T. Chambers, seconded by M. Smith to approve the Michigan DNR Mutual Aid Fire Control Agreement. Approved Unanimously 7 – 0. • B. Cook asked for a review of the current rate changes. After a detailed discussion, B. Rogers asked if the Board of Directors would like to see the Youth Skeet and Trap offered for free and that was not agreed upon. In the end, the Board of Directors agreed on a motion to change the Cabins requiring a 3 night minimum stay to “Cabin rentals incur a $60 cleaning fee unless rented for 3 or more consecutive nights.”; adding the 6 Continued on page 7
