R. Karbon presented the Financial Statement for the months
of October 2018 and November 2018:

M. Ames called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. Motion by V. Kaszonyi seconded by A. Lifsey to approve the treasurer
report as presented.
Motion passed unanimously.

abstained his vote as one was his daughter.

Motion by N. Thurston seconded by R. Karbon to approve Steven

Motion by M. Smith, seconded by F. Calabro to approve the Consent
Agenda for the December 8, 2018 Board of Directors meeting adding
the November Financials. Motion passed unanimously.
Motion by N. Thurston seconded by D. Smith to accept Vance &
Madelon Corcoran, Jason & Brittany Fannon, Valerie & James
Wellman as new Canada Creek Ranch Members.
Motion passed unanimously with A. Lifsey abstaining as one was
his daughter
Committee Reports
CCR Fire Department
J. Jones gave an updated on the new tanker purchased in
November. In early November J. Jones located a 1987, 2000-
gallon pumper tanker truck in Appleton Wisconsin that
would enhance our water delivery operations in the event of
an emergency and would fit into fire barn. On November 8,
2018, President M. Ames call a special board meeting to
consider purchasing this new asset. M. Ames explained that
the total purchase was $18,600. $10,160.55 was taken from
the Resource Fund and the remaining $8,439.45 was taken
from the Operating Fund. J. Jones reported that the truck is
performing as anticipated and will be a great benefit to CCR
members.

Manager’s Report – Eric Johnson
E. Johnson announced that on November 26, 2018 we hired
Magen Segula as the new Controller/HR Coordinator. Magen
is a graduate of Northern Michigan with a bachelor’s degree
in Accounting. Magen is a great addition to our Team.
E. Johnson reported on both the Campground sewer repairs
project and with open issue Item# K4 submitted by member
David Briggs. The Briggs proposal, submitted at the October
Board meeting involved converting loop #2 (sites 11-20, 10
sites), to 5 drive thru sites. Johnson stated that if the Board
adopts the Briggs proposal, the campground sewer repairs
project will have to be amended. Further he stated that a
J. Jones also reported that in November he met a firefighter
from Farwell Fire Department (Surrey Township) in Clare
County who was interested in donating their old set of jaws
of life. J. Jones reported that the equipment works well and
was in excellent condition
V. Kaszonyi will send a thank you letter to Surrey Township.
