President’s Message MISSION STATEMENT Canada Creek Ranch Association, Inc. Continued from page 1 The purpose of Canada Creek Ranch Association is to preserve our hunting and fishing heritage and to provide a quality outdoor environment for those other recreational activities which are unique to its woods, waters, and wildlife; and to promote among its members an enduring fellowship working to preserve its properties, and friendly spirit for future generations. This mission is to be implemented within principles of ecologically responsible resource stewardship, sound, farsighted financial management, and respect for the dignity of fellow members. Consistent with these objectives are the following implementation goals: But at CCR the Operating Dues, Capital Dues, and Resource Fund withdrawals (beyond the strict limit already in place) must be authorized by membership votes. Our members have the “power of the purse strings”. GOALS: Please take the time to read what the Board is planning and to provide your input and questions. 1. Provide efficient administrative services. As always, your thoughts and questions on these monthly messages are welcome. So, as the Board works through these financial challenges, we’ll need your understanding and support. The Board will keep you informed about its thinking and the state of the Club’s finances. We will do our best to keep you “in the loop” with information easily available in print and on our website. 2. Provide a healthy habitat for fish and wildlife (game and non-game species for the purpose of viewing, hunting and trapping, fishing, etc..). Respectfully, Ray Karbon 3.
