And members willing to accept the fiduciary duties of Directors to serve the best interests of all the membership are critical to CCR’s continued success and sustainability. Proxy Ballot Proposal 2 passed. The membership granted the Board permission to apply to the State of Michigan for a “Club License” allowing beer and wine to be served in the Ranch House. The application process has begun and we’ll keep you informed of its progress. Finally, please make a point of reading our latest Strategic Plan. It lays out in easy-to-read format the direction the Association is heading and the major Goals that have been established by the Board. Visit our webpage and look for it under “Member Items”, then “Documents/Media”. If you missed the annual Members Meeting on September 21 st , a “State of the Ranch” report was introduced that you can find under the “Member Items” tab on our website or at the Front Desk. This 8-panel brochure contains easy-to-read graphs that show key metrics as well as reports from our new General Manager, our Treasurer, and the Board President. Here’s wishing each of you a healthy and happy Autumn. Please visit the Ranch as often as you can. Join the rest of us at this wonderful place we can enjoy together. As always, I welcome your feedback or questions. This State of the Ranch report will be published each year going forward as a ready reference on the health of the Association. Your feedback and suggestions for making this document more relevant to you will be welcomed. Respectfully, Ray Karbon Of course, the Proxy votes were of keen interest at the annual Members Meeting.
