The library is always a good place to find romance, mysteries, histories, biographies and more. Cool nights and cloudy days are perfect to get into your snug chair to read a good book. This month the library is ordering The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros in the romance department. A heartbreaking letter from a fallen soldier begs his best friend to care for his sister and her twins, revealing a devastating family secret. Reviewed as a haunting, heartbreaking and ultimately inspirational love story, this book is a roller coaster of emotion. We are also ordering None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell in large print. This psychological thriller follows a woman who becomes the subject of her own popular podcast.
Our book club will be meeting on October 14 at 7 pm in the boardroom to discuss The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon. A murder mystery set in the 1700’ s is investigated by the midwife, as she seeks to protect her own family and friends. This historical murder mystery is inspired by the life and diary of Martha Ballard, who defied the legal system and wrote herself into American history. We’ d love to have you come join us!
Thank You!
The Conservation Committee would like to extend a huge thank you to member Steve Ball for the donation of wheat seed!
