Disabled Veterans( Member or guest) and Disabled Members may harvest one( 1) antlerless deer, even if the quota has been filled for the year.“ Disabled” is defined by the DNR in the current year’ s Michigan Hunting and Trapping Guide and requires special state-issued permits.
o Hunters shall not harvest more than two( 2) antlerless deer per year, whereas one 1) antlerless deer may be harvested during all firearm seasons combined. NOTE: This limit does not apply to the cull areas
• Antlerless deer may be taken with a bow, firearm, or muzzleloader using an Antlerless License, Single Deer, or Combo license. The all-season limit of two( 2) antlerless deer on CCR applies to all members and authorized Bow Season guests.
• The September‘ Liberty Hunt’ is antlerless-only on CCR.
• Note: The“ Early Antlerless Firearm Hunt” season in September is open on CCR.
SOME RULE REMINDERS:( not a complete list)
• Baiting and feeding continue to be prohibited for 2024 in all Lower Peninsula Counties( including CCR).
• CCR“ 3 point Rule” still applies to bucks taken on the Ranch( Minimum 3 points on one beam; point minimum of one inch long).
• 2nd Buck Limitations: Bow hunters may not harvest a second buck on CCR before the opening of the November Firearms Season. Firearms hunters may not harvest a second November Firearms Season buck on CCR until the 4th day of that season.
• Temporary Blinds( artificial materials) and Tree Stands must be identified with the name of the responsible member.
