Board Candidate Bios
Keiser University in Florida for 7 years. I also have served as social media manager for Brevard Humane Society. Prior to that, I was Managing Director for Monroe Center for Healthy Aging, directly responsible for a seven-figure budget, along with marketing and public relations. I supervised the employees and operations of food service, a cancer support department, volunteer coordination, maintenance personnel, and events. I presented at a statewide Board of Directors training workshop, chaired a state conference, and led our organization through national accreditation. I was also vice president and on the board of the Monroe Kiwanis.
Before all of that, I was Public Relations Director for River Raisin Centre for the Arts, directing all marketing campaigns and coordinating over 400 volunteers. Many of my positions have been in nonprofit organizations, working with board members and budgets. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Technical Writing and Public Relations from Eastern Michigan University.

In conclusion, my passion is the preservation of the natural beauty of CCR’ s woods and water. I strongly believe in communication to the members to further our bonds and goals, and I believe in a tight budget that is focused and prioritized. Also, I am very interested in the efforts and issues of our forestry, especially since living through the 2025 ice storm. In conclusion, I am honored to be nominated.
